11. As a South African native, Musk is ineligible to be president.

That said, Musk seems to have as much power as Trump and is indeed often acting as president, so who exactly is the leader of this country? I believe it is Musk because he used his millions to essentially buy Trump and force him to cede power. He also owns X, which he could use to try to turn many people against Trump and this administration if Trump kicked him out of power. And then there’s Trump’s slip that Musk rigged the election for him. If true, neither of them would want that to come to light. I think Trump cannot afford to get rid of Musk because he knows too much.
