Are we now supporting immediate deportation of every person who may have overstayed their visas without a hearing?

What I read was that the suspect's family was being processed for expedited removal, which would allow authorities to rapidly deport them without a hearing in an immigration court. In other words, without finding out whether they had overstayed their visas, etc. and/or had any involvement in the suspect's attack. Which is why the judge correctly put the process on hold.
