Nebraska is a major sorghum-producing state, typically ranking fifth nationally in total production. In 2023, over 225,000 acres were harvested in Nebraska, generating $75.9 million, according to the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service. Production is concentrated in the southern part of the state and often utilizes minimum or no-tillage planting systems.
And will Trump and the Republican use taxpayer money to pay the farmers for their losses this time too?
