punish the libs/the gays/the trans...punish the poor/the disabled/blacks/latinos/muslims/immigrants...as long as he was destroying his enemies, and by osmosis their enemies...yay Trump!..until the tariffs, the ICE raids, and no one is buying their beef...and they're losing their jobs/insurance/healthcare and they can barely feed their families ...and suddenly they wake up to the fact their guy has fucked them over...they've been owned!...BOO-fucking-HOO!!!

now they're really pissed...this isn't what they voted for (except this is exactly what they voted for)...and as per usual when their shit gets really bad Republicans do what they've done for decades...they vote Democrat, trusting the Democrats to clean up the sewer their guy has created...
