I started on DU with the intention of spreading awareness and building strong public support for the transition away from CO2 energy of every kind, following Joe Biden's lead.
I ran into a LOT of hardcore push back, (mostly silly fossil fuel industry talking points though) and seemingly little interest in the environment and energy forum, and then during the run up to election, when Dems didn't seem to want to amplify Biden's Green agenda, I thought maybe the Clean Energy message wasn't the right thing to push at the time, we might just be preaching to the choir and maybe messing with the Dem election efforts.
With trump back, I don't know what to think (about anything, really). But I do know that the transition is still going strong, just not here in the U.S., and I'm still unsure how much of an impact trying to restart the Clean Energy movement excitement would make at this point.
That being said, I'm very much looking forward to your posts! Maybe I need a little hope and renewed excitement about it all myself!
