ponytail, black and white bathing suit. i used my Christmas money to buy outfits for her. I bought Simplicity patterns to make outfits for her. They even had tiny zippers.She never wore shoes because they would fall off. I had the house, car, and Ken. but he stayed mostly in the black vinyl carry case with the outfits. I played with her up until 6th grade. I let her sleep with me. Since I came from an abusive family , my parents said I was too old to be kissed good night and told I was loved. So Barbie did. In six or 7th grade , I came home and all my Barbie stuff was gone. It was trash day and she told me that she threw it away. I cried. Fast forward. I go to WalMart and they have the new Christmas Barbie the Mattel had recently started. I bought it. I was hooked. I had everyone. I watched QVC and HSN and every week I would treat myself to one. I had all the theme Barbies. Somehow I got mail about a the Barbie club where exclusives were sold. I then got into the Bob Mackie designer Barbies. The thing is I never took them out of the box. I had no plans of selling. I just wanted to keep them in good condition. They were all over the place. And cost me a good deal of money, I talked to my therapist about it and we agreed it went back to the abuse I suffered as a child. I took the Barbies to school and gave them to the teachers for their children and grandchildren and gave them to my students who wanted them. I kept 10==the remake of the original The Wizard of Oz series and the Makies. Sorry to share this with you. I have them in the attic. I haven't looked at them in years. If you have room keep them. My collection was because of the abuse.I suffered. I am very sorry for being a bummer. Enjoy them, Take them out and display them . Love, Debbie.
