give his voice a rest.
Taylor was giving her fans a nostalgic, hours-long spectacle. And they loved it. And a lot of them, probably most of them, believed she was singing live.
I haven't heard of any threat from her lawyers to sue Wings of Pegasus (a suit they would have lost, while creating negative publicity for her). I did see something about a threat to sue a newspaper, but I don't know what if anything became of that. So many solo artists putting on a spectacle for their fans do lip-sync that most people would just shrug it off.
AFA Oasis goes I saw them on Be Here Now tour, as a package they were awesome! However, Liam is a pretty boring front-man, at least back in those days and gave off a bit of a cocky vibe like we were all just lucky he was there to grace us lol.
He still just stands there, hands behind his back - if he's not holding a tambourine or maracas (or a beer, as he did at Glastonbury in 1994). And the same "cocky vibe like we were all just lucky he was there to grace us." He might leave the stage, or sit down, when Noel is singing or playing a guitar solo. Reportedly once asked, re Noel singing more songs, "What am I supposed to do? Make tea?"
Btw, there's video of him complaining about having to make his own tea:
