Here is a very brief summary - this is CDC recommendations, not an opinion

*Children under 5: A routine 4-dose series of PCV15 or PCV20 is given at 2, 4, 6, and 12–15 months. *Adults 65 or older: A single dose is often all that is required if utilizing newer vaccines (like PCV20 or PCV21). *Adults 19-64 (with certain conditions): Often requires a 2-step series (PCV15 or PCV20 followed by PPSV23 1 to 5 years later).
