3. When I went to adopt a cat in 2000, I had to fill out a four-page form.

One of the questions was would I have the cat de-clawed. I never had a cat de-clawed before, so I went on the internet to do some research and the more I read about it, the more horrified I became. I swore I would never do that to any cat and I never have.

My cats have plenty to claw on. They really don't claw on furniture very often. I have their claws trimmed at their yearly check-ups. The biggest problem I have with claws is that my cat Holly doesn't retract hers when she puts her paw on my arm when she wants me to pet her.
