15. Hey! This gave me a great idea!

Both my older dogs have heart disease--so believe me I understand about the vet bills! The male is on all kinds of drugs: diuretics that deplete his potassium so he needs to take potassium, and meds to make his heart function more efficient. I have to be careful about not giving him human food or anything with salt--the boy loves Fritos, but can't have them anymore. I often cook them special food with plain chicken, brown rice, oatmeal, and veggies. They love this but I often have chicken broth left over. I could freeze that and add it to their food and not have to worry about added salt! I could make doggie snacks with that broth as well! Thanks for the idea, Aussie!
