However, I do not believe every single person who voted for Trump was motivated by racism. Research data shows 13% of Trump voters in 2016 had previously voted for Obama. Some voted for Trump in 2020 & 2024 as well.

In my experience, anecdotally from people I know and nation-wide statistics, no entire group of voters for any particular candidate is a monolithic block, all motivated by the same factors.

Though in my opinion, everyone who voted for Trump is a gullible fool, ignorant, racist, or some combination thereof. That's still a broad brush, and I'm still angry at every one of them.
