I have two nieces and two nephews in America.

From them I have 2 great nephews and 6 great nieces in America.

They are all a mix of Black, Latino/Latina and European descent.

They all appear as Black.or Latino.

Your baseball buddies might have voted for lower taxes -

But their vote is an Existential Threat to the children in my family - age 1 to 32. Existential. And the reality is - your friends don't care.

My husband has dropped every single friend who voter for Trump. He's a 56 year old white man from Italy - who became an American in 2020. He lived 8 years in the Bronx as a kid then the family went back to Italy. He's a blacksmith, owned and sold for a tidy profit several trade businesses, turned his Iron works into an employee co-op, and now only takes specific clients for our on property studio and is moving back to sculpting.

My husband based on appearance - has heard every snotty racist thing the magapubs have thought to spew. He's my inside guy. The white male who can get in and around their spaces? Vociferously disagrees with you.

Your idea may be well intentioned - but my littles don't have the luxury your baseball friends have of not paying attention to "Politics and current events". Your friends are the Default Setting. The game right now? It's rigged in their favor.
